Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner with wound-care focus sought for a per-diem clinical role. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical exams and wound assessments, evaluating wound-related conditions and comorbidities, performing wound debridement and dressing changes, developing and implementing individualized care plans with the Medical Director and care team, documenting patient encounters in the EMR within 24 hours, educating patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention, and collaborating with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams. The role requires independent work within a clinical team, adherence to CMS guidelines and safety standards, ongoing licensure and education in wound care, and participation in meetings and quality initiatives. Per-diem engagement with 1-2 days per week, with licensure/certification reimbursement for part-time employees; additional benefits include malpractice coverage, a collaborating physician, CME reimbursement after 1 year, and mileage reimbursement.
