Job Summary
Temporary 12-month assignment for Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient primary care services within the Dayton VA Medical Center, working on an interdisciplinary primary care team serving veterans. Responsibilities include managing chronic disease panels, conducting follow-up visits, documenting encounters in existing and transitioning EHR systems, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, and supporting EHRM go-live activities as directed by facility leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted NP license in Ohio or ability to obtain one
- National certification through AANP or ANCC
- Prescriptive authority in the state of Ohio
- DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to obtain VA credentialing and privileging prior to assignment start
