Job Summary
Part-time Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) at CVS Health MinuteClinic across Naperville, Woodridge, Aurora, Lockport, Shorewood & Joliet and surrounding areas. Schedule 10a-3p, Monday-Friday (20 hours) with occasional weekends. Provide accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common family illnesses for patients 18 months and older; deliver holistic, evidence-based care including health counseling and disposition planning; administer immunizations (COVID-19, influenza, TB, Depo) with vaccine education. Requirements include Master's Degree as Family Nurse Practitioner, current national board certification, state APN license, DOT certification within 30 days, BLS, and ability to communicate in English and additional languages depending on market. Epic experience and background in ER/urgent care/primary care/retail health are preferred; wage range provided with bonus eligibility; comprehensive benefits noted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
- Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus (Spanish among others)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pass a FIT test and wear respirator mask when required
