Job Summary
Plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including managing team members and day-to-day operations of the outpatient Primary Care Practice. Provide services across the continuum of care for independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing residents. Manage resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations while serving as a clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students. Develop and implement preventative and well-being services to assist residents in thriving and aging in place. Maintain knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Advanced Nursing
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable work state
- Minimum of five years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care, urgent care, or other medical office setting
- Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing care, long-term care, and/or in an assisted living environment
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Nursing degree preferably in geriatrics
