Job Summary
Assess and treat patients with acute conditions, chronic illnesses, and minor trauma while collaborating with physicians. Educate patients and families on preventive care, medical issues, and prescribed treatments. Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and document all evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, and referrals. Order diagnostic tests as appropriate and prescribe medications within scope of license. Facilitate record evaluations per protocols and implement constructive directives. Promote health maintenance through counseling on annual physicals and self-care skills. Requires current AL State license, Master's degree in nursing, and ability to exercise sound judgment with pediatric patients. Monday through Friday schedule with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Have a AL State license
- Must enjoy working with Pediatric patients
- A NP degree from an accredited school or University
- Master's degree in nursing
- Must hold current license/registration to practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Master's Degree in Nursing
