Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to neurocritical care patients in collaboration with neurocritical care physicians and the healthcare team. Manage a daily patient load of 12-15, offering both critical care and support to patients and their families. Participate in the educational endeavors of the department, including the training and supervision of nursing staff, residents, and medical students. This position is currently for night shifts only.
Required Qualifications
- current or ability to obtain, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona
- certification from a recognized board (AANP, ANCC for NPs)
- DEA license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- at least two years of experience or a strong clinical background in Neurocritical Care
- ability to work night shifts only
