Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to neurocritical care patients in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team, managing a daily patient load of 12-15. Offer critical care and support to patients and their families while participating in departmental educational endeavors, including training and supervision of nursing staff, residents, and medical students. This night shift-only position requires an unrestricted Arizona Nurse Practitioner license, AANP or ANCC certification, DEA license, BLS, and ACLS. Join the University of Arizona's Neurology department in Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- current or ability to obtain, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Arizona
- certification from a recognized board (AANP, ANCC for NPs)
- DEA license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- at least two years of experience or a strong clinical background in Neurocritical Care
- availability for night shifts only
