Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide exemplary primary/urgent care services at Midwest Express Clinic with multiple Midwest locations. Responsibilities include medical assessment, treatment, management, and follow-up for clinic patients (including primary and urgent care, DOT physicals, and workers’ compensation), performing procedures (laceration repair, nail removal, pap tests, injections, abscess incision and drainage), supervising medical staff, and leading during emergencies. Working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with varying locations and hours. Requires BLS, active FNP license, and DOT certification within 30 days, with weekend/evening/holiday availability; schedule: 6.5 12-hour shifts every two weeks. Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Licensure
- Department of Transportation (DOT) Certification within 30 days of employment
- Availability – Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Shift Schedule – 6.5 12 hour shifts every two weeks
