Job Summary
Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans by reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal and accurately documenting exam findings to complete required VA forms. Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings while strictly adhering to gender-specific privacy protocols for sensitive examinations. Perform focused physical exams for a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily during an 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, with no on-call duties or treatment responsibilities. This structured role supports the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs disability benefits process for male practitioners.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
- Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation
