Job Summary
Part-time Nurse Practitioner position focused on Emergency Medicine with responsibilities including diagnosing and treating patients, facilitating communication between healthcare teams, coordinating quality care, and integrating research and best practices. Required qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing, completion of an NP program, and at least two years of experience in an adult ED. Candidates must have CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications and be registered with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in Nursing
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program
- Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland
- Valid state APRN Recognition
- DEA and CDS eligible
- CPR required
- BLS required
- ACLS and/or other relevant certifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as an NP working in an adult ED
