Job Summary
Outpatient-focused ACNP will work with a team of 5 surgical oncologists in the HPB division to manage complex oncology patients across the surgical journey, with emphasis on continuity of care from diagnosis to post-operative follow-up. Responsibilities include managing outpatient clinical care with some inpatient support, facilitating transitions between hospital and outpatient settings, performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures (drain removal, wound care), interpreting diagnostic tests and prescribing medications, collaborating with surgeons and multidisciplinary team, and participating in patient education, consultation, and research. New graduates with interest in complex surgical care are encouraged to apply; schedule is Monday-Friday, 5 days with 8-hour shifts. Minimum requirements include Board Certification, DEA license, BLS, and a graduate ACNP degree. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
