Job Summary
Senior Nurse Practitioner role focusing on delivering telemedicine-based sleep medicine care. Responsibilities include screening, diagnosing, and treating patients with sleep disorders, documenting in a customized EHR, applying billing procedures, participating in quality control, returning patient messages promptly, and facilitating referrals to other healthcare professionals. Must stay current with AASM guidelines and clinic protocols. Requires 5+ years of direct patient care, 3+ years in sleep medicine (or enroll in the Dreem Health Academy program if lacking sleep experience), and an active CA MA APRN license with furnishing and prescriptive authority. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, empathy, strong communication, prioritization, adaptability, and teamwork within Dreem Health/Sunrise Group’s expanding clinical environment. Location is remote in the US with full-time telemedicine duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
- Minimum 3 years sleep medicine experience (required to start within one month)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing
- CA and MA APRN licenses (one or more additional state licenses a plus)
- Active CA Furnishing license AND MA prescriptive authority for non-controlled substances/devices
- Ability to work full time, minimum 36 hours/week, 5 days/week (Mon-Fri)
