Nurse Practitioner role in Chicago, IL with The Night Ministry focused on serving unhoused populations and those without access to health care. Responsibilities include conducting basic physical assessments for pediatric, adult, and elderly patients; providing Medication Assisted Treatment for opioids; health education, counseling, referrals, and documentation in EHR/ETO; coordinating with staff and volunteers for outreach services across settings (Health Outreach Bus, Street Medicine, CTA, youth programs); traveling to other outreach sites as needed; and participating in meetings and training. Requires MS­N degree and current Advanced Family or Adult Practice Nursing License, DEA license (or willingness to obtain), and minimum 2 years NP experience; evening/weekend availability; strong interpersonal skills; and a valid driver’s license. Ability to manage the organization’s website/graphics is noted, along with comfort working in diverse outreach environments and outdoors.
