Nurse Practitioner-Internal Medicine: Hospitalist

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join Banner University Medical Center Phoenix Hospitalist team. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care to hospitalized adults in a multidisciplinary academic environment with medical students, residents and fellows. Responsibilities include histories and physicals, developing differential diagnoses and treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, participating in rounds, discharge planning, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Night shift is 7pm–7am (3-12 hour shifts/week) with a $125 per shift differential. Eligible for comprehensive benefits, CME days, 401K with 4% match after one year, and paid malpractice. A current Arizona license or in-process license, DEA with prescriptive authority, and active CPR/BLS/ACLS are required; open to new graduates with related experience.
