Job Summary
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join the hospitalist team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix for night shifts (7pm-7am, 3-12 hour shifts/week) in an academic, multidisciplinary environment. Responsibilities include performing histories and physicals, developing differential diagnoses and treatment plans, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, delivering comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized adults, participating in rounds, discharge planning, quality-improvement initiatives, and maintaining documentation per policy. Collaborates with physicians, residents, nurses, and other care-team members; benefits include medical/dental/vision plans, 401K with match, CME days, paid malpractice, and more.
Required Qualifications
- Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Current State of Arizona license or in process
- DEA with prescriptive authority
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- Open to New Graduates with Related Experience
- Acute Care, Cardiology, GI and/or Inpatient experience is highly desirable
