Job Summary
Provide evidence-based, compassionate, and holistic care to in-patients and their families in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Maintain current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and Advanced Nurse Practitioner credentials, including AHA BLS or higher certification. Obtain a valid DEA number within 90 days of hire and ensure prescriptive authority is active. Hold a Master's degree in nursing and three years of nursing experience, with two years of advanced practice preferred. Must be a participating Medicare provider or eligible to obtain a provider number.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Professional Nurse
- Accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study
- Participating Medicare provider or eligible to obtain a Medicare provider number
- Three years of nursing experience
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas
- Credentialed by the State to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Current AHA BLS or higher
- Prescriptive authority
- Valid DEA number (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Certification by a national nursing body
