Job Summary
Provide evidence-based, quality, and compassionate care to in-patients and their families in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Maintain current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and Advanced Nurse Practitioner credentials, including a valid DEA number obtained within 90 days of hire. Hold a Master's degree in nursing and three years of nursing experience, with two years in advanced practice preferred. Maintain current AHA BLS or higher certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Professional Nurse
- Accredited post basic or advanced educational program of study
- Participating Medicare provider or eligible to obtain a Medicare provider number
- Three years of nursing experience
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Texas
- Credentialed by the State to practice as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Current AHA BLS or higher
- Prescriptive authority
- Valid DEA number (to be obtained within 90 days of hire)
- Certification by a national nursing body
