Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner overseeing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical concerns within a Residential Treatment Program for Substance Use Disorder. Provide direct patient care with medications, perform History & Physical Exams and psychiatric evaluations, and aid in aftercare and discharge planning. Maintain licensure, comply with regulatory standards (including JCAHO and state regulations), and participate in Treatment Team meetings. Requires active NP license and Master’s in Nursing; minimum 5 years’ nursing experience in mental health and managerial experience preferred. On-call coverage for region (1 day/week, 2 days during PTO). Location: Colorado Springs, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold active Nurse Practitioner license
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in nursing in a mental health setting preferred
- Prior experience in the chemical dependency field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial role preferred
