Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner in Neurocritical Care (Inpatient) providing clinical management, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescription of medications, and education within the Neurocritical Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. APP will work as part of a dynamic, team-based Neurology/Neuroscience service, with on-call expectations for nights/weekends on a full-time 12-hour shift schedule. Prior neuroscience or critical care background is preferred; position open to those without such experience with on-the-job training. ENLS training is preferred and can be completed within 1 month of hire. The role emphasizes growth in critical care skills and managing patients with a range of neurologic diagnoses, with a relocation stipend offered.
Required Qualifications
- Current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner board certification
