Job Summary

Coordinate and manage pre/post-transplant patient care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplants while collaborating with surgeons, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure thorough evaluations and optimal outcomes. Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and post-operative care, and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives. Work rotating 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or from a Physician Assistant program
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Maryland
  • Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in transplant services or a related field
  • Physician Assistants with inpatient experience
