Job Summary
Hospital Medicine NP/PA needed for part-time day shifts at Cooley Dickinson Hospital Campus in Northampton, MA. The role involves rounding with physicians and care teams, admissions coverage, first-responder duties for rapid assessments, and autonomous practice at the top of the license. Responsibilities include initial patient evaluations, medication reconciliation, documentation of H&Ps, monitoring progress, coordinating care plans, discharge planning, patient and family education, triage and transfers, and ensuring smooth transitions of care. Requires master’s degree and licensed NP or PA with inpatient hospital medicine experience preferred; EPIC EMR experience also preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
- Licensed as NP or PA with current certification and eligible for practice in Massachusetts (or applicable state)
- Experience as NP or PA in inpatient hospital medicine preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Prior APP experience in inpatient medicine strongly preferred
