Job Summary
Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Hospital Medicine at Cooley Dickinson Main Campus (Northampton, MA) with 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day shifts and shared weekend/holiday coverage. The NP/PA will round on hospitalized patients, perform initial evaluations (H&P with admission orders), monitor progress, coordinate care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, document progress notes, perform procedures within privileges, manage discharges and follow-up care, educate patients and families, triage and facilitate transfers from the ED/outside facilities, and ensure smooth transitions of care. Requires Master’s Degree; licensed NP/PA with current certification and inpatient medicine experience preferred; EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree required
- Experience as a licensed NP preferred
- Prior APP experience in inpatient medicine strongly preferred
- Prior EPIC EMR experience preferred
