Nurse Practitioner, Hospital Medicine

Part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Hospital Medicine team at the Cooley Dickinson Main Campus in Northampton, MA. 20-hour position with day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and shared weekend/holiday coverage. Responsibilities include initial patient evaluations (H&P, medication reconciliation, exams), monitoring patient progress, coordinating care plans with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams, documenting progress notes, performing bedside procedures, managing discharges, educating patients/families, triage and facilitate transfers, and ensuring smooth transitions of care. The PA/NP works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation teams, with opportunities to practice at the top of the license in a supportive, autonomous environment.
