Job Summary
Provide comprehensive medical care for terminally ill patients, including assessments, diagnostic interpretation, and individualized care plans. Prescribe medications, complete face-to-face hospice recertifications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage symptoms and ensure continuity of care. Educate patients and families on end-of-life needs while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory standards. Requires a current NP/APRN license, accredited degree, and minimum two years of RN experience. Hourly base range is $35 plus $100 per visit; total compensation varies by location and experience. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Degree from an accredited NP program
- Minimum two years of RN experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Automobile insurance
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
