Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses in an academic inpatient setting. Manage clinical symptoms, engage in end-of-life discussions with patients and families, and provide consultations on goals of care and advance care planning. Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and community hospice staff within an interdisciplinary model. Requires current ACNP/FNP certification, Arizona license, and prescribing privileges; ACHPN certification expected within two years. Full-time daytime shift (7-5) with no call or weekends. Join the Palliative Care Team at Banner University Medical Center Tucson, which supports specialized services including Neurology, Cardiac, and Oncology ICUs.
Required Qualifications
- Current/Eligible (ACNP)/(FNP) Certification
- Arizona License
- Current CPR and BLS
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
