Job Summary
Manage medical care for advanced liver disease and pre-liver transplant patients through outpatient clinics with potential inpatient rotation. Provide daily consulting across Infectious Disease, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology while collaborating with transplant pharmacists, dieticians, and social workers. Participate in weekly Transplant Selection Committee, Quality Meetings, and multidisciplinary rounds. Requires current Arizona NP license, DEA privileges, and ACLS certification. Monday through Friday ambulatory hours with light call responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
- Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS
- NP experience in Hepatology and/or Liver Transplant
- RN critical care or specialty experience
Desired Qualifications
- NP experience in Hepatology and/or Liver Transplant preferred
