Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide ongoing management for patients with hematology and oncology diseases, including acute same-day visits, long-term follow-up, and infusion room oversight. Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to support holistic well-being while offering guidance on educational resources and community services. Manage approximately 8-12 patients per shift during weekday 4-10 hour rotations, with inpatient coverage available when needed. Maintain current knowledge of research and best practices to deliver evidence-based care within a collegial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Washington State ARNP or Physician Assistance license or have an active license prior to starting
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their families
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Strong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelines
- Weekday Shifts with no weekends or holidays
- 4 - 10 hour shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years ARNP/P.A. experience following training
- Prior experience with EPIC
