Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care to well and ill adult and pediatric patients in an outpatient setting, including assessments, diagnosis, treatment management, and care coordination. Order and interpret diagnostic studies while counseling patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate consistent care, advocate for patients navigating the healthcare system, and respond to medical emergencies. Maintain accurate electronic documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and educational activities. Drive during the workday and travel locally or out of state as needed to perform job duties.
Required Qualifications
- Unrestricted license to practice in the State of Louisiana
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Ability to stand
- Ability to sit

- Ability to hear
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Ability to reach
- Close vision requirements
