Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating resident and employee health care in long-term care facilities with daily travel to multiple sites; responsibilities include examining and treating wound-related illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing and coordinating care with physicians, debridement procedures, managing wound care products, and educating patients/PCPs on current wound management practices. Requires NP certification, active APRN license, Master’s in Nursing, Covid vaccination, ability to travel locally, and a day-shift schedule (Mon-Fri) with no nights or weekends; on-the-road work environment with company-provided benefits and onboarding support.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree of Nursing
- Current Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain prior to hire
- Successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program
- Proof of Covid vaccination
- Current approval by the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
- Able to stand and walk for 4+ hours
- Able to lift significant weight (up to 100 pounds) and perform patient-care tasks as described
