Job Summary
Per Diem Nurse Practitioner in Staten Island Urgent Care Centers, collaborating with Northwell Health and GoHealth Urgent Care. Provide autonomous, patient-centered care with mentoring support, rotating to multiple Staten Island locations. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across all ages (6 months+), performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), interpreting EKGs and X-rays, administering vaccines, and utilizing on-site imaging and labs. Work alongside on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants, with access to state-of-the-art EMR (ECW) and online appointment systems; opportunities to rotate to other centers and contribute to a high-quality urgent care network.”,
Required Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license/credentialing
- 1-2 years of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting (treating all ages 6 months and older)
- Adult and pediatric experience
- Comfort with minor procedures (suturing, casting, splints)
- Ability to read EKGs and X-rays
- Per Diem/hourly or shift-based scheduling understanding
- Experience with EMR systems (ECW preferred) and imaging/labs understanding
