Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) sought for outpatient Neurology at Bristol Health Medical Group to conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, diagnose and manage chronic neurological conditions, order and interpret MRI/EEG/labs, develop individualized care plans with supervising neurologists, educate patients and families on disease processes and treatment options, coordinate care with other specialties, and maintain accurate EMR documentation; opportunity for subspecialty focus (e.g., headache, MS, movement disorders) in a collaborative, patient-centered clinic with a Monday-Friday daytime schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (AGNP, FNP, or ANP) or Physician Assistant
- National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- CT Controlled Substance Registration and DEA
- 1+ year of neurology, primary care, or internal medicine experience preferred (new grads with neurology clinical rotations welcome)
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and communication skills
