Job Summary
Provide outpatient gastroenterology care, including evaluation and management of GI conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and GI bleeding. Perform patient consultations, follow-ups, and preventive screenings while collaborating closely with gastroenterologists on treatment plans and care coordination. Assist with pre- and post-procedure care for endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy), educate patients on diet and lifestyle modifications, and order and interpret labs and imaging studies. Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems. This full-time role supports a large, community-focused healthcare system serving over 600,000 residents with advanced endoscopy capabilities and a Patient-Centered Medical Home designation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Active or eligible for Washington State licensure
- Active/eligible DEA registration
