Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Conduct pre-employment and annual wellness examinations, evaluate and treat acute and chronic conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician. Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic testing while monitoring patient progress to adjust care plans. Educate patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices, accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record, and coordinate referrals with multidisciplinary providers. Review clinical cases with the Medical Director and oversee employee respirator fit testing and hearing conservation testing. Tuesday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts (40 hours/week). Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license and minimum one year of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or urgent care
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and organizational leadership
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining high ethical and professional standards
- Proficient with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Desired Qualifications
- DEA license
- Experience with weight management programs and GLP-1 medications
- Occupational health or employer-based clinic experience
