Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including performing physical exams, taking medical histories, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Develop and manage treatment plans while educating patients about their health conditions and providing preventive care services. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients. This role requires a Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization in family practice or Internal Medicine, a current Connecticut license, and at least two years of primary care experience. The position is full-time within a non-profit, hospital-owned, multi-specialty group affiliated with an academic institution located in Eastern Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in nursing (MSN) with a specialization in family practice or Internal Medicine
- A current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in the state of Connecticut
- At least 2 years of experience working in a primary care setting
- Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
