Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner to join our team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. The role supports care for pediatric and adult patients in outpatient settings with telehealth capability and a virtual scribe option.Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive or episodic health histories and physical examinations of patients/families with acute or chronic conditions, collaborating with cross-trained care management and population health teams, and utilizing EMR Athena to streamline workflow. The position emphasizes flexible scheduling and ongoing clinical leadership support to promote provider success. Candidates should be graduate-certified NP with current licensure eligibility, DEA registration (or eligibility), Medicare/Medicaid enrollment (or eligibility), and BLS/ACLS certification. Experience with telehealth and automated scribe tools (e.g., Suki) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred but not required
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
