Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine needed to join our team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. The role requires treating pediatric and adult patients, conducting comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessments, and working within a value-based care framework. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited NP program and certified, hold an unrestricted license (or be eligible), possess DEA registration (or be eligible), and have Medicare/Medicaid enrollment (or be eligible). BLS or ACLS certification and experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred) are required. The position supports flexible scheduling, telehealth capabilities with a virtual scribe option (Suki), and a collaborative environment with clinical leadership and care-management teams.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate and certified from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred but not required)
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
