Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a team-based primary care practice in Locust Grove, GA. Provide outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients across ages, supported by cross-trained care management and population health teams, with telehealth capabilities and a virtual scribe via Suki. Utilize an optimized EMR (Athena) and participate in flexible scheduling and leadership connectivity. Must be a graduate and certified NP, hold an active unencumbered license (GA or eligibility), have DEA registration or eligibility, and maintain Medicare/Medicaid enrollment eligibility. BLS or ACLS certification required. Prior outpatient experience and comfort with EMR and telehealth are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate and certified from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current, unrestricted license in practicing state or be eligible for licensure
- Active DEA registration or be eligible for registration
- Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Athena preferred
- Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Ability to treat pediatric and adult patients and perform comprehensive health histories and physical assessments
- Ability to work in a team-based primary care setting
- Ability to participate in telehealth and virtual care workflows
- Active participation in practice leadership and collaboration with care management teams
- Knowledge of value-based care delivery and population health strategies
- Licensure in GA or eligibility for licensure in GA
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Medicare/Medicaid enrollment eligibility or enrollment ability
- BLS or ACLS certification
