Job Summary
Provide primary care to patients across age ranges in Geisinger Pottsville, with extended appointment times (40 minutes for medically complex visits and 20 minutes for average complexity and acute care visits). Work within a collaborative care model with physician/APP panel sharing, daily care-team huddles, and a comprehensive support system including pharmacists, care managers, and a centralized refill team. Utilize Epic EMR with ambient dictation to support care delivery; engage in teaching/precepting opportunities; participate in care management and patient education initiatives; and contribute to ongoing quality and safety practices. Must have a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner and Pennsylvania licensure with NCCPA certification eligibility; possess board certification as a Nurse Practitioner and actively practice in Family Medicine/Primary Care. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- Current Pennsylvania State licensure as an RN and NP
- Certification: NCCPA or eligibility; American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- ARC-PA approved NP program completion
