Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner for Geisinger Pottsville Primary Care in Pottsville, PA. Role features extended appointment times (40 minutes for medically complex patients, 20 minutes for average/acute care visits) within a collaborative care model and physician/APP panel sharing, supported by a comprehensive team (pharmacists, care managers, coding educators, and more) and Epic EMR with ambient dictation. Provides care across pediatric to geriatric ages under physician supervision, with opportunities for teaching and precepting, CME benefits, tuition reimbursement, and relocation assistance. Includes a recruitment incentive up to $20,000 with a 30-month work obligation; benefits packages available from day one for both full-time and part-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- ARC-PA (or predecessor) approved nurse practitioner program
- NCCPA certification or eligibility
- Pennsylvania State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners certification (or equivalent)
