Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner delivers a variety of healthcare services, including preventative, chronic, and acute services. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting health-risk assessments, routine check-ups, screening tests, immunizations, and counseling individuals on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. Participation in continuing education and quality assurance audits is essential. Candidates must hold a current Nurse Practitioner License, an Illinois Controlled Substance License, be eligible for DEA registration, and possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner License in State of Illinois
- Current Illinois Controlled Substance License within 6 months of hire
- Eligible for DEA registration
- Possession of a current DEA Registration within six months of hire
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
