Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine

Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Family Medicine available in outpatient clinic in Addison, IL. The role provides autonomous patient care under the direction of collaborating physicians, including detailed history taking, physical exams, ordering and interpreting imaging and labs, prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, and delivering pre/post operative instructions. The NP maintains records, writes progress notes, follows patients through treatment, collaborates with physicians and the health care team to optimize outcomes, and contributes to standards of practice, patient education, and wellness across individuals, families, and communities. Requires IL APN licensure, DEA and controlled-substances licensing, and BLS/CPR certification; master's degree preferred; prior NP outpatient experience is a plus. Full-time role with outpatient call group participation and no inpatient coverage; sign-on bonus eligible for experienced candidates.
