Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine

Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine) in outpatient clinic settings providing care under collaborating physicians. Responsibilities include obtaining detailed histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting imaging and lab tests, prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, instructing patients on treatment plans and post-operative care, documenting progress notes, following patients through treatment, collaborating with the health care team, promoting wellness and preventive care, and contributing to standards of practice in family medicine. Independent autonomous practice within an outpatient clinic, with a focus on chronic disease management and comprehensive health assessments across individuals and families.
