Nurse Practitioner – Family Medicine

Nurse Practitioner in family medicine providing autonomous outpatient care under collaborating physician; performs histories and physical examinations, orders imaging, labs, and diagnostic procedures, interprets results, and prescribes therapies. Instructs patients on treatment regimens and pre/post operative care, maintains progress notes, follows patients through treatment in the clinic, collaborates with physicians and the health care team, and participates in standards of practice to promote wellness, preventive care, and disease management in an outpatient setting.
