Job Summary
Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting by evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries. Perform procedures within scope of practice and training while collaborating closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Actively participate in daily team huddles, support clinical staff with workflow and process improvements, and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system, utilizing AI-assisted tools as appropriate. Work three 12-hour shifts per week including rotating Saturdays, with closed Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Requires an active Texas NP or PA license, two years of urgent care experience, and national certification.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Texas
- National certification: PA: NCCPA
- National certification: NP: AANP or ANCC
- DEA license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience preferred
- DOT certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not required
