Job Summary
Conduct physical exams, preventive health measures, and acute care for family medicine and internal medicine patients. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient needs, then record findings and formulate comprehensive care plans with physician consultation. Prescribe medications or recommend treatments such as physical therapy and inhalation therapy, while referring patients to specialized resources when necessary. Requires NP/PA licensure for Missouri and Kansas, accredited program completion, and certification in Diabetic Education. Full-time role at Encompass Medical Group's Hickman Mills office in the Kansas City metro area.
Required Qualifications
- NP/PA licensure for Missouri and Kansas
- Successful completion of accredited nurse practitioner/physician assistant program
- Certification in Diabetic Education or ability to gain certification in this area
- Background and Drug Screen Required
