Job Summary
Assess patient physical and psychosocial status through interviews, health histories, and physical examinations. Diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, and develop therapeutic plans while interpreting diagnostic test results. Document all patient interactions and notify the managing physician of unusual events. Collaborate with UMMC Telemed Physicians and other health professionals to ensure continuity of care. Requires current MS State Board of Nursing license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and UMMC Telemed certification. Master's Degree in Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold current license with MS State Board of Nursing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to maintain highly confidential information
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Must have BLS
- Must have ACLS
- Must have PALS
- Must be Telemed certified through UMMC
