Job Summary
In the role of Part Time Nurse Practitioner Educator, you will prepare and deliver engaging Nurse Practitioner Certification Review courses both in-person and online, utilizing developed content and adult pedagogy to ensure student success on the national certification exam. Responsibilities include supporting APRN programs, integrating APEA solutions, and providing support with content development as a subject matter expert. Qualifications include a Master's or higher degree in Nursing, mastery knowledge of Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam, unrestricted APRN license, and at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
- Masters or Higher Degree in Nursing
- Current unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching or presenting at conferences as a podium presenter
- Maintain NP certification exam expertise
- Consistently maintain and improve evidence-based knowledge of advanced practice
- Create a collaborative atmosphere with faculty and students
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel and present two to four review courses per year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a family, psychiatric mental health, or adult geriatric acute care nurse practitioner preferred
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic and engaging presentation style
- Exhibit professionalism
- Demonstrate technological competence with a variety of applications
