Job Summary
Diagnose psychiatric disorders, conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, and manage medication for youth clients ages 5 to 18. Collaborate with the Medical Director, Licensed Social Workers, and Qualified Mental Health Specialists to deliver integrated mental health and substance abuse services. Order laboratory studies and monitor medication response while maintaining strict confidentiality and ethical standards. Requires an active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license with Psychiatric-Mental Health certification and experience in substance use disorder treatment. Full-time or part-time in-person role within a faith-based, culturally inclusive counseling agency focused on client-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant license in Ohio
- Certification in psychiatric-mental health (PMHNP)
- Experience in mental health and substance use disorder treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for community-focused, patient-centered care
- Proficiency in Electronic Health records(EHR) systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients ages 5 to 18
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care
- DEA
- Active NP license to practice in the state of Ohio
