Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology at The South Bend Clinic's Day Road Plaza Dermatology team seeking an experienced NP with 1-2 years in Dermatology. Responsibilities include comprehensive skin examinations, ordering diagnostic tests and procedures (biopsies, labs, imaging), collaborating with supervising physicians, providing patient care and education, prescribing medications within scope with physician oversight, and communicating with referring physicians. RequiresMaster's degree NP, ANCC certification, Indiana NP/RN licensure, and BLS; DEA license may be required based on prescriptive authority.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- National certification in the applicable specialty (ANCC)
- Current state licensure as Advanced Practice Nurse and RN in Indiana
- Maintains current CPR (BLS) certification
