Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner role based in MinuteClinic offering in-person and occasional clinic-based virtual care within the Christiansburg/Radford/Roanoke area. Core responsibilities include delivering evidence-based primary and family care with assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of acute and chronic conditions, ordering/ administering vaccines, preventive care, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities also include performing diagnostic testing, preventive counseling, treatment of injuries and illnesses, patient follow-up, insurance verification, and payment collection, while supporting a safe and efficient care environment. Practice at the top of your license with clinical team support, participate in charting and follow-up during scheduled shifts, and engage patients in wellness services and chronic disease management. Education requirements include a Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program and active, unrestricted licenses with board certification (AANP or ANCC). Preferred qualifications include EPIC EHR experience, prior MinuteClinic precepting, and virtual care experience; DOT certification must be completed within 30 days of employment.
